Casey Pastor Verdes is as a Senior Program Coordinator within the FIU Scholarships Office. In this role, Casey oversees the processing of several scholarship funds onto student accounts, including the First-Generation Matching Grant, FIU Departmental Scholarships funded through E&G/auxiliary accounts and donor-gifted FIU Foundation Scholarships. Additionally, she manages external scholarship funding like checks and wire transfers from private organizations outside the university.
Casey graduated from FIU with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2017 and later earned her Master of Public Administration in 2023. Her comprehensive background spans Financial Aid, Registration, and Admissions within FIU’s higher education system. Leveraging her deep institutional knowledge, Casey is deeply passionate about supporting students on their academic journeys, whether celebrating their academic achievements or providing critical aid during financial crises.
